Odíhg Fushni̊fàf (/fuʃ/ /ˈni̘fəf/ [switch] [shiny]) is a subtropical Town located in the Utièkíhf Noiē Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name Odíhg Fushni̊fàf is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Fushni̊fàf was founded by Mraez Y̼ùco, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Odíhg Fushni̊fàf has a yearly average temperature of 30°C (86°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 34°C (93°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Odíhg Fushni̊fàf receives an average of 166 cm/y (65 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Odíhg Fushni̊fàf covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 688 m (2257 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Odíhg Fushni̊fàf was founded durring the late 11th century, by Mraez Y̼ùco. The establishment of Odíhg Fushni̊fàf was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Mraez Y̼ùco electing to pay people to resettle in Odíhg Fushni̊fàf.

Odíhg Fushni̊fàf was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Fushni̊fàf is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Odíhg Fushni̊fàf is buildings are arranged within a network of restrictive packed earth streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. Odíhg Fushni̊fàf's brittle defences are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

A look around Odíhg Fushni̊fàf makes you worry someone might stab you in a dark ally for your boots. It’s not filthy, or dark, but the smiles seem strained, the locals seem to glare daggers in eachothers backs a little too much, and everyone is armed at all times. You may want to keep an eye on your valuables, and make sure you don’t wind up in any position of power.

Cultural Notes

A substantial minority of the locals are descended from foreigners alien to their local neighbors. They may have been religious exiles, economic migrants, indigenous locals surrounded by the existing polity, or a foreign settlement conquered within the relatively recent past. Modular elements were often used to form masses representing specific functional zones, grouped into a unified whole.
